The team also dedicates their time to deliver great food, beverages, functions and events for the Top Town Tavern, Wyalong & the Temora Hotel. We want to ensure everyone who visits has a fantastic experience. 

Ben & Rachel Murrells

Owners/operators of Murrells Hospitality Group

Murrells Hospitality Group started in 2011 when Ben & Rachel purchased the leasehold on the Central Hotel, Ungarie. 
They have since then grown their Riverina based company to operate the Top Town Tavern Wyalong, Temora Hotel, Ardeanal Motel and they have their very own pizza wholesale business – Slices Pizza! 
Ben and Rachel love family time and have two beautiful children!
They’re looking forward to the future of Murrells Hospitality Group and bring more venues on board in and around the Riverina!

Will Purdie | Venue Manager

Temora Hotel

In March 2020, Will took over management of the Albion Hotel in Grenfell 2 days before lockdown. In the time that he was there, Will made the venue into a thriving pub! 

He has 12 years experience in Sales Marketing with management skills heading a team of both labour and administrative staff. 

He has also previously worked at the Australian Hotel in Young and as the Assistant Manager of the Courthouse Hotel in Boorowa. 

Will achieved all he could at the Albion Hotel in Grenfell and wanted to experience a bigger challenge within a new town, work with new staff and to meet new friends along the way. 
His first experience coming to the Temora Hotel as manager was the wonderful food that we provide and the fantastic staff we have. 

You can see Will most days at the Venue, behind the bar or helping out in the kitchen! Drop in and say hi!

My name is Amrik Kumar N.Bondad, I’m 28 years old and I started out as a chef 8 years ago. After I graduated from Laguna State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, I received my first Chef role. I worked in the classic French fine dining restaurant at a well-known hotel/resort in the Philippines called Resorts World Manila. In my first year I joined the most prestigious culinary event in the Philippines called, the Philippine Culinary Cup. I won the silver medal in the young chef division, which, to this day, I’m very proud of.
After my time at Resorts World Manila, I joined the Celebrity Cruise Line for almost 3 years before decided to continue my culinary career in Sydney. While I was in Sydney, I worked at Osso Steak and Grill as a Sous Chef for 2 years before landing the head chef role at the Temora Hotel.
My speciality has a focus on Modern, French, Asian and all Western cuisines.

I look forward to serving you some delicious meals and hosting your next function at the Temora Hotel!

Roydon Dsouza | Sous Chef

Roy has worked in kitchen’s all over Australia and the world for more than 8 years! He has worked for some of the biggest names in Hotels including, Intercontinental Hotel Groups, Mirador Hotels, Costa Cruise lines, Crown Plaza Hotels, Accor Hotels, Atura Hotels, Emirates resorts, shangri-la Hotels, plus a range of cafes, pubs, fine dining and speciality restaurants. 

To get to where he is now, Roy studied a bachelor of hospitality, bakery and confectioners, advanced diploma in cuisine, food production and patisserie, gastronomy and food science. 

Roy loves to experiment with food and cook amazing dishes for the Royal Hotel. His expert dishes range from, French, Italian, Greek, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Indian, Mexican, Western & continental foods. 

You can find him cooking some awesome and delicious meals at the Top Town Tavern, Wyalong!

Jaq McCulloch

Marketing Manager

Jaq has a bachelor degree in business, majoring in marketing which she completed in 2017, however, she has always worked or been apart of hospitality industry. Her first job was at the Royal Hotel in Tumut, where she worked all apsects of the hotel – bar, bistro, gaming & management for around 4-5 years.
She hasn’t lived in Wagga her whole life. In her early 20’s she lived in Airlie Beach QLD and got to explore the Great Barrier Reef & the Whitsunday Islands. Her worked consisted of taking people out on scuba diving & snorkelling trips, overnight sailing and day trips. 
Jaq also lived in Wollongong where she took a break working in the hospitality Industry and worked at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre. Here, she got to see the Arts Culture, which she fell in love with. Not only was this world exciting to work in – she got to meet some very famous people. 
She got the travel bug last year on her very first overseas holiday to Italy & Greece and loved every minute of it! Planning to travel more in the future. 
Jaq, is very excited tobe working for Murrells Hospitality Group and is excited to be a part of a team that will and has been achieving great things!
